1-YEAR APPOINTMENT

Approximately 3 hours and a 30-minute take-home survey
COMPENSATION
$100 per person ($200 total)
WHAT TO EXPECT
We are excited to welcome you to the study! When your child turns one year old, you are invited to your first appointment at Burnett Hall. During this visit, you will meet our research team, answer questions about the quality of your intimate relationship, play with toys alongside your child, accompany them while we administer a series of tasks, and complete a set of self-report surveys.
1.5-YEAR APPOINTMENT

Approximately 2 to 2.5 hours
COMPENSATION
$100 per person ($200 total)
WHAT TO EXPECT
You are invited to attend a remote meeting with a member of our research team on Zoom from a location of your choosing followed by an online survey.
2-Year Appointment
2-YEAR APPOINTMENT

WHAT TO EXPECT
The two-year mark is a period of remarkable growth and independence for your child. We invite you to return to Burnett Hall again for this essential follow-up assessment when your child reaches age two. You will answer questions about the quality of your intimate relationship, play with toys alongside your child, accompany your child while we administer a series of tasks, and complete some self-report surveys.
3-year appointment
SMARTPHONE SURVEYS
SURVEY LENGTH
Daily questions for two weeks about interactions with your toddler
COMPENSATION
You will receive up to $70 for each week that you complete the daily surveys.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Following the 2-year visit, you will be invited to participate in a 14-day daily assessment using your smartphone. During this two-week period, you will be asked to answer brief, periodic questions about your daily family interactions. You will receive $70 for each week that you complete the daily surveys.
3-YEAR APPOINTMENT

WHAT TO EXPECT
As your child reaches three years of age, transitioning from toddlerhood to the preschool years, we invite you back to Burnett Hall for your final assessment. This session follows the established format: you will provide updates on the quality of your intimate relationship, play with toys alongside your child, accompany your child while we administer a series of tasks, and complete some self-report surveys.
