The primary objective of the Family Emotions Project is to understand how early family dynamics influence the emotional health and development of young children. The goal of the research project is to identify factors that promote child emotional health, including the quality of parents’ relationships with each other and with their child. This research is funded by the National Institutes of Health.

This study has been approved by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Institutional Review Board.
